CruX 8 TanX – they are neither tanks nor tongues. They are roof jug holds made for steep walls and overhanging roofs, in the shape resembling the muzzle of a war tank. They are also thin tangs, which you will need to hold tooth and nail.

TanX holds were created to fill in the gap in the AIX climbing holds assortment. These holds are usable e.g. as positive crimps in an overhung roof when you hold yourself only with tips of your fingers. They can be used as for bouldering as for rope climbing. Although the majority of these holds is created for one-hand grip, there are a few of them on which you will be able to change your hands. The material used for manufacturing of these holds is a solid polyurethane; this material prevents from breaking of the extremely thin parts of the holds. It is possible to make rotation-safe all the twelve holds in the set by using a screw.
